I purchased it initially for trial purposes, as I already own a trackball mouse from the same manufacturer which I constantly use both at home and work. I've become so accustomed to it that regular mice feel alien to me now. The quality of this trackball is top-notch, with no creaking and rapid response times. The only drawback is the soft-touch coating, which tends to get dirty and might wear out over time. The coating is different on smaller trackballs. Also, the larger trackball's ball is less secure; it falls out if the device is inverted, unlike the smaller one where it stays put even when shaken. The other features are also commendable.
